Elderly Gentleman - No Local Family

Moving Mentor® was asked to help Ronald, an elderly gentleman whose mail and bills had overwhelmed him. After a lifetime of keeping good records and completing his own income tax returns, he was three years behind and was getting notices from the IRS.

Moving Mentor® was called by a social worker to help. Over time we obtained missing papers, discovered bonds and other instruments that he had lost track of, arranged for a lawyer to get a health care proxy and power of attorney in place and worked with his out-of-town family to coordinate his care.
